I am getting harassed everyday, sometimes more than once a day, by the First Alliance Bank. Can I sue?

I have asked them to take me off the list. I even spoke to the supervisor whom I asked to take me off the list and that it is harassment. Still, a half an hour later, I get a call from the telemarketer from First Alliance Bank. What are my rights and can I sue the company for harassment?

First, be sure your number is on the national do-not-call registry.

Second, be sure that you're not already doing business with one of First Alliance Bank's sister companies. If you are, then being on the do-not-call registry no longer applies.

After that, I would get the name of the supervisor, and send a letter to that person, copying the CEO, and perhaps the Better Business Bureau, requesting that they immediately cease and desist with the calls, and making it ridiculously clear that you may need to involve the services of a lawyer should they not follow through on your request. If that doesn't stop them, then hire said lawyer, and begin the legal process.
u can but dont. Big deal, its not like its ruining ur life. dont be "that guy" and sue
You can sue them. I think it is about $1500 per call so keep a log of everytime that they call and take them to small claims court.
Listen carefully, record eveyone of the call, make sure that in every instance you tell them more than once to stop calling you.
Report their name to the NO CALL NATIONAL LIST and after two or three months if they keep calling you will have a profitable case.
Put your number into the national do not call registry. I get no calls from the telemarketers now. I put my number into the state and federal list.

Oh, go to radio shack and get a wire tap for the phone and a tape recorder. The tap is about $9 and sticks to the back of the earpiece with a suction cup. It works great. Phone receiver needs to be a smooth surface to stick. Record these calls and you might have a lawsuit against them.
Put your name and all phone numbers ont he antional do not call list. You may also want to think that maybe these calls aren't from a legitimate source and they are phishing for your information.
Several people tried the taking off the list but its useless so here is what you do ask your phone company to tell you how to block numbers that you dont want to get call from it is easy, also just leave your answer machine on at all times even when you are home and when the phone rings when the machine picks up if is some one you want to call when you hear the voice then you pick up, otherwise when other people call they will just hand up at the response of the machine just tried and see what happens when they get the machine every time soon they will stop calling, or if you can afford to change the # that would work.
