My daughter's husband is currently serving in the Army in Iraq and they need another vehicle. Their only income is his, but she has power of attorney that includes the power to purchase a vehicle or home in his name. Unfortunately, most lending institutions want him present to sign the loan and won't accept her power of attorney. Does anyone know of any reputable lenders that would go that route? My wife and I aren't in a situation in which we could help them, even as a co-signer on the note, so that's not a viable option. Thank you.
I would say that if your daughter and her husband have an account with USAA then they will help your daughter to get a vehicle in his and her name with out him being here. My husband as well is in Iraq and I ended up getting a new car and I used USAA and they helped me thorough everything. That's the only place that I can think of that really works with the military. I think Wells Fargo is really good at helping with problems like that all so. I hope this help and I hope your son in law returns safe from Iraq. |
