Score 678--auto loan approval?

Im currently applying for auto loans. Ive submitted about two applications so far. My only concern is my credit score is 678, I have a credit card balance close to the limit, and by debt ratio is low. Do u think these factors will seriously impair my chances of getting approved? Thanks in advance

678 is good,, don't let salesman run you over,, play hardball ,, they are! If you wanted maybe pay off the credit card so it don't show max,, other than that ,, no worries,, play the games they do! Walk in and out make them compete with other dealerships,, even if your just making it up! Car salesman are the worse,, they will act as if they are your best friend,, and giving you a great deal,, they are not! ,, never settle at the first or even second offer!

Oh ya car salesmen don't Even sell cars anymore ,, they sell Financing!! So make them work you some figures without giving them , their Golden Key ,,,,, YOU SS# tell them you want all discussions about your credit ,,Between the salesman ,, and the guy that usually sits in the glass cage,, to be in front of you,, meaning that whole act of the salesman walking back in-forth is noting but an act.. a process to make the buyer think .. oh this salesman is good his talking that price down,, NOT the Case!!

My former roommate was a car salesman,, he became in azz even out of work!

Your score of 678 is decent, but a credit score is not the only factor that goes into deciding whether or not you are credit worthy. For example, if you only have one credit account on your credit report or have been on the bureau for less than 5 years your chances of being approved are impaired. Your Debt to Income ratio is another thing that impacts a bank's decision on lending money, the lower your DTI is the better.

I think you will get approved however I think your interest rate will be higher. You need to pull your credit report and see what if anything is incorrect or can be disputed. www.annualcreditreport.com
