Has anyone applied for auto loan at capital one?

i need auto loan for person--to-person used car. if you applied for the loan and got approval, you will automatically get a check in a mail???

can i void the check later if i don't need the loan?

I used Capital One to buy a new 07 Malibu. If you get approved they will ask for all kinds of info to be faxed to them over a week or so. Then they will mail the 'Blank Check'. You can use it or tear it up and not ever be charged a dime and nothing will ever come of it other than your credit will reflect that Capital One did an 'inquery' on your credit report. No worries.

I also used Capital One and the only negative effect will be on your credit report. Also along with the blank check they inform you on everything that applies to the blank check so you dont screw anything up lol. Read the fine print once you get it!
