I need help getting an auto loan, because my credit is not very good. please help?

If you have poor credit, and dealerships have tried to get you a loan and cannot, there is not much you can do about it..you can possibly put a large ammount down and the bank might finance you because its not as much money....or a co-signer......I would also try to get a loan with your own bank, as long your in good standing with them, you might have more luck with them. Also if you have had a good car loan with any bank, no lates, made all payments ect, they might also take that into concerderation...And if all else fails Call around and look for a buy here pay here, they dont go through banks, but you do have to put a bit some $$$ down.............Good Luck, Hope that helps! The previous poster was correct. Usually a Finance Manager at a car dealership can get you financed because they obviously want to sell you a car. You could try a credit union, if you qualify for one, they typically have more lenient credit guidelines than banks.
