Can a bank require an indivdual to add disabiliy and term life in order to get a auto loan? I should think you would want these as they are not expensive. The disability would make your payments for you if you are incompacitated from surgery or illness. My husband got a loan for his truck through chrysler without credit life only because they would not let him get it because of health issues. I don't know if a bank requires it,but it is in your best interest to get it. yes some do in order to protect them selves, generally they shouldn"t but as many things that get returned, especially if the investment for the interest is of a vehicle type. some require you take on en extended warranty even.but other than they shouldn"t but if you do it looks alot better for the paper to be oked rather than a simple loan with no backing. it makes things look better for the board of directors to ok it, is for there protection and more and more are going that way. harley davidson finds it hard to finance anything with out extended warranty, and disability |
