Capital One auto loans.? |
Has anyone used Capital One for an auto loan? If so what interest rate did you receive and how was your credit at the time. Or do you know what your fico score was like at the time you applied? I'm asking because mine isnt that great and I'm wondering what kind of interest rate I should expect. My score is a 658 with Experian due to past bankruptcy in 2003. 658 is a good rating and should be fairly low but not all credit reports from the other 3 companies well have the same score as experian 2003 is fresh expect a really high rate someting in tier 5 your better of going to a credit union btw where did you get your score? hopefully not experian as that score is artificially high my husband used them two years ago when he bought my corvette and his credit was bad due to bankruptcy too, i think his at the time was 630 or so. we got the car at 6 point something or other. keep in mind that only certain dealerships accept the cap one checks, we had to hop from dealership to dealership until we found one that takes cap one. they said they don't like to take the checks because cap one takes up to 6 months to pay them. so if you go with them i would call dealerships first and ask so you don't waste your time driving around. it really sucks to find a car you really like and then the dealership says they don't take cap one checks! also keep in mind that cap one will bug the hell out of you starting with the day your payment is late, IF YOUR EVER LATE! email me if you have more questions about it: matsystud@yahoo.com I have placed this in the source box.
