Auto Loans??? |
I was wondering if I needed a driver's license in order to co-sign for my husband's car? I am 20, have two years credit history, and my credit is good. His credit is not so great, but he has a license. So, can I help him finance for the car??? Just did a deal like yours in Illinois through Ford Motor Credit. FMCC said yes. I think your answer will be determined by state laws and more importantly lender guidelines yes you should beable too...your name will be on the car..as you are married anyways no you do not need a license you got credit Yes. BUT, if you are 20, that is one year short of full majority, it may not even work. The only thing you can do is to talk to the loan company and see what they would offer. Be aware, your interest rate will be VERY high either way. |
