Considering that you are talking about the biggest purchase of your life (I'm assuming), don't you think it may be somewhat in your interest to find out why you are being denied before looking elsewhere for a higher interest loan that you could possibly be ppaying on for the next 30 years. Have someone that understands numbers and mortgages show you what an ENORMOUS differene 1/2 or 1/4 of a percentage point makes over 30 years in interest and I promise you'll work on fixing your credit score and finding the cause of your problem before just settling for the first person to give you the loan! Have you checked out why you have bad credit? You may wish to contact Experian to show which debt is outstanding before you start looking for a mortgage because it may be an error of oversight which can be sorted out.

Get an appointment with a financial advisor. They will be able to help point you in the right direction with regards to companies who lend to people with bad credit. I know that a company called Accord mortgages do a sub prime mortgage for customers with bad credit.

Remember to go speak to an Independent Financial Advisor though because some of the companies out there charge extortionate rates whereas the proper companies offer much more reasonable products.
