Obviously, you have to put some money in the account in order to open it, but they do not specify how much it has to be. With an Ing checking account, you can get a debit card mailed to you. In order to open an account with Ing, you have to have an account with a real-life bank first. You use this account to transfer money into your Ing account to open it. You need to go in person because there are other inquiries that the banker might have and ids and all that the follows. try ING; its supposed to be really good. You should go to the website of banks in your town and apply for an account online. There are some limitations on what you can open (as far as checking accounts go) No money in the account, No debit card! |
