How can you set up a bank account in Canada if you don't have good credit history?


Let's say I want a strictly savings account for work and possibly direct deposit, no overdrafts...they will still turn me down...what about a credit union?

Er............ try ING direct.

They have the highest interest rate i.e 4.9% and you do not need a $25,000 deposit like some other banks.
