Does anyone know what banks don't use Chexsystems to open new accounts?


I've been totally screwed by Chexsystems. I was told by the reporting bank that they would remove me since I paid off the debt. So I called f***ing chexsystems and the wouldn't budge eventhough I had paid the debt and the bank said they would request to have my name removed. I really can't stand this. Customer service is rude at Chex. Any help?

Its not Chexsystem's fault that they don't remove the bad marks for 7 years.

I'm not really sure, but if thousands of illegals can get bank accounts I'm sure you can find somewhere. I agree with the guy above me: it's your fault you had bad checks/charged-off acct/etc. You have to deal with the consequences. There are always check cashing stores.
I understand being laid off is not easy, but it's still your fault the way your account ended up.
Just be lucky that you only have to deal with Chexsystems, and not the law. Because in a lot of states, you can do jail for writing a bad check. Being laid off wouldn't be a valid excuse.

Also, are you sure Chexsystems is the only company you were reported too. Some banks use more than one system. There's Telechek, CheckCare, and Checkfax. Most banks will check at least one, sometimes more of those companies to see. Some also use SCAN, which checks to see if any stores are still holding bounced checks you wrote.
