I just started using paypal and have received some money via it. does that money go back to my bank account? |
I was wondering if the money I receive via paypal goes back to the bank account I used when signing up for paypal or if it remains in the paypal account? If I have some money in my paypal account, and I send money to someone, does this transaction appear in my bank account activity? The money stays in the PayPal account. The in/out transactions show up on your PayPal account, not your bank account. For a US bank account there are no transfer fees. For bank accounts in other countries fees apply. It can take several days to transfer funds between your bank account and PayPal. you can either use it to pay someone else or request it to be transfered to your bank. i have done both. but you will need to request the transfer it will not be done automatically. it takes two weeks to get it back No, it remains in your Paypal account, unless you withdraw it to your bank account. From http://pa2.info Your paypal account is separate from your bank account. You can keep money in your paypal account and then the next time you pay someone the money will come out of your paypal account and not your bank account. If you want the money put into your bank account you have to request it. If you don't have money in your paypal account and you pay someone then it will come out of your bank account. |
