Paypal confirming bank account? |
I setup a Natwest solo acount on paypal and it said it would take 3-5 days for them to take 2 small amounts of money out of my account to confirm it was mine. It's been 5 days now and I have checked my account by online banking and nothing has been taken out.I've already been sent a reminder email. So what should i do now? I've looked on the website for some help topics like this but i cant find any. Helppp It takes as long as it takes to get you the statement with said wording to the service. This is a postal thing - some credit card companies deliver their statements per week, some per month - if your last statement is two weeks old then you have to wait two weeks to get the next one. The next one you get will include the wording you need to continue the service stated. Patience is a virtue - and then some. Paypal has always operated at this level - now its a wait for the creditcard service to kick and the postal man to deliver it. The next statement you get from your creditcard company will state everything you need to proceed - meanwhile its the waiting game. Not much anyone can do about it - its the circles of business that go round that's all. Source(s): Personal experience - billing can be such fun - though most folk understand the waiting there is not a lot you can do about it. Explain to those in waiting that you are in fact 'in the mail'. It takes a few days, be patient. The world of banking loves to slow us down to its own pace. close it and start again Are you sure that they said take money out. When I signed up a few years ago they put a few cents in. You then had to go to their site and confirm the amount. It normally takes 3-5 working days and then it can take your bank a couple of days to process the request. If it hasn't gone through by the end of the week, I'd ring them. Paypal doesn't take money out to confirm it deposits it, have you checked for any small deposits? |
