How much do u have in ur bank account? the average family in america barley has 5,000?? what do you have??

Around 33,000+. I just started 2 years ago. Every raise and bonus I get I put the money in my retirement account. I think it's scary that our generations aren't saving much. 194 dollars a week will get you 10,000 a year contribution. Americans live way beyond their means. Get rid of those credit cards, pay off those cars and organize a budget!

Average = $5,000?? I highly doubt that.

Mine is about $900.
Right now I have $ 191.00....and payday is NEXT Friday. I literally live paycheck to paycheck. I would feel rich if I had 5,000.
Which bank account... I have 3: checking, savings, and money market. Combined I have around $6,000 right now. That number is growing though as I am saving for a house and living with my folks right now.

i can never save! If its not one thing its another
always getting ripped off by mechanics constantly putting money into no good cars and once i get the bills paid and i think there may be some extra spending cash the cat gets sick......that you the bank tells me i have made an over draft on 0.01 cents that i have to pay 30 some odd dollars
