Did anyone get their bank charges from the Abbey and if so did Abbey go on to close the account? |
Before they were suspended till after the court case obviously Yes, i`ve helped a number of people to claim from abbey, and they didn't have their accounts closed. The FSA cracked down on this practice, and so the banks only shut down your account normally if you claimed more than once. If the OFT win their court case, then it will be much easier to claim back your bank charges, and everybody will get back, and its likely you won't need to go to court. The banks also won't be allowed to close accounts at all for claiming back your charges.
