As my bf is a compulsive gambler (anyway that is a different story) Could you recommened any cheque cashing stores, And do you know how much they will charge to cash a cheque for 拢3,000 Thank you kindly. Open a savings account in your own name, don't tell him about it. why are you sharing an account with a boyfriend? that's pretty stupid. just cash the check at your bank. how hard is that? If you are in the uk try cash converters in most high streets now.Yes they do charge and you will need forms of ID but thenyou have the cash so you can do what you want with it.Hope this helps. first off get rid of your b/f if he's not trust worthy... and a saving account or second bank account sounds good you dont want to cash it as they will prob charge over 拢100 to do a cheque that size, also if you have it as cash in your house could your boyfriend stumble across it, sounds like a recipe for dissater!!!! Is your account a joint one? How would your boyfriend have access to it? If it's a joint account just open up a new account with the cheque in your name only. I think it may be time for a new boyfriend or that money will be gone before you know it. Sorry to sound harsh. Oh Sarah, open your own checking account, clean out the joint one and dump the boyfriend. Go to another bank and open an account there. Take out 1/2 the money for you and leave the rest in the secret acct for a rainy day. |
