What is the best bank or build society to open a saving account for a kid ? Check out the savings rates of interest, not forgetting to check out and see if there are any promotions on for opening a childs savings account. The best advice that I can give you is: PUT IT IN A BUILDING SOCIETY. They usually give off the best rayes of interest AND.... If they decide to become a BANK then they will have to give you shares or money in place of shares... Or both!!! BUILDING SOCIETY Natwest..They have special options for kids and the interest rate is great too. I didnt know baby goats were allowed to hold bank accounts. Nationwide is good... I have accounts for both mine with the Norwich and Peterborough building society, they do childrens accounts with good rates and they also do regular reviews of your account to see if there is a better one for you, but i guess you should shop around to find a good one that suits you. |
