Many people ( not you - you are just asking ) seem to come to this site and complain about bank charges. Its quite simple, if you sign up for the service then they are entitled to charge if you go overdrawn etc. No, fees are spelled out in the contract you sign when getting the account. The bank charges fees to cover any impending risk you may pose and to cover any expenses that result from YOUR mistakes.
