Can you get a cashier's check from a bank without having a checking account there? Sure you can, as long as you have enough cash to cover the cashier's check and the fee the bank charges for the check. My bank charges $5.00 for a cashier's check, just to give you an idea of what you can expect. Yes you can at most banks, however there may be a small fee for it. Most banks will do this for free for a customer but charge for non customers. If you need a smaller amount get a money order go to a grocery store to get a cashiers check.... Albertsons does it Yes, but you'll probably have to give them cash for the amount. If you're okay with that, there's no reason for them not to, although they might charge a few bucks for it (not many, though). Take cash to them and they will give you a cashiers' check. As long as you have the cash first. |
