Which bank is better to open a savings account...icici or uti and why? I like EmigrantDirect.com. I think they're paying over 5% annually now (I haven't checked for a few weeks; nobody really checks savings accounts often, do they?). The only thing about EmigrantDirect is that you need an account with another bank because there are only a couple of branches of EmigrantDirect and it is strictly intended to be an online bank.
