Which British bank or building society offers the best current account and why? Stupid question really, depends on your circumstances The Bank of "Me". I promise if you send me ALL yr money I will take really good care of it! I will take it out to the local shops & show it a good time in the New Year Sales!!! Depends entirely on what you want from a current account. My usual method of selecting a current account is to see which is closest and go with that - the range of benefits are, in my opinion, very limited with most accounts, and the only real thing I want from a current account is an easy place to deposit cheques and change pennies. What do you call best? And how can you expect any one to know what is in a bank's mind? It depends what you are after.
