Solicitor wants too see bank statements to confirm money came from my account..? |
i am buying a house and he has asked for bank statements so he can see money came from my account. I havent got any statements, but can ask bank but do i need 3 months worth of statements of just one month will do as it he is asking for only proof money came from my account. He is also asking for a credit/cheque guarantee card but i do not have one off these, so hope this doesnt cause any problems. I have already got a offer letter from the bank. Searches carried out, valuation done just contracts need exchanging. please advise me what too do. thank u xx He needs proof that you weren't loaned the money for a down payment and therefore misrepresenting the amount of debt you have. Typically a one month statement won't show enough history to be convincing. Not sure about the rest. simple...follow the solictors direction. |
