We would open it in our own country and make occasional deposits with a debit card. We would give the mother/child a debit card by which to make withdrawals as necessary. We want the account to be in the grandchild's name so that when he is older and understands the situation, he will know that he was not "forgotten" by his paternal grandparents. Is CITIBANK a good choice? Can anyone suggest others? We appreciate any advice that you all can provide. Thank you.
Citibank. HSBC is a British multinational and yet seems to have a soul.
