| *Loan,banking and credit>>>bank account |
My bank wants me to accept a "bank card" which, when used, automatically subtracts funds from my account |
when used. I don't see the need for such a card. I charge things on my credit card and pay it off every month. Why should I accept the "bank card?" Seems to me it would just be something else to keep up with and worry about being stolen. You are absolutely right. If you don't need it...don't take it. There are always risks with indentity theft and these are avoided when you limit your exposure. Here is some additional info. Hope this helps. Source(s): Credit http://www.tomvoli.com/category/credit/... It sounds like you really don't need the bank card, and you have your credit under control. Bank Cards ( or Debit Cards) are interest free as well as not having any annual dues to pay. If you pay your credit card off each month, why not skip the process of writing them a check and just do your spending from the Debit Card....... easy, simple and your monthly bank statement will show all of your purchases. Do net get I it - you are using your credit card the right way so stick with it. If you use the bank card then you miss the interest free period on your credit card. It's a replacement for the use of checks. Leave it at home to quiet your worries. yeah, its just the modern replacement for paper.. instead of writing checks to debit your account, you use the debit card.. It can help with fraud.. You have a pin# when you use it. It also can be used in any atm like visa, etc... I find it handy.. but like any card, if you dont budget your account, you can get it out of hand.. Just save all your receipts and at the end of each day (like I used to do my checking account book) tally everything up.. (save all receipts for tax purposes) |
