I have recently ordered an item online and payed by credit card , but when consulting the bank account i discovered that twice the ammount missed from my account. The right sum was withdrawn but the same amount appeared blocked , so my account showed missing twice the sum.Do you have any idea of how this could happen? what shoul I do? Thank you
What the bank does is block the amount on your card so that the expense can be taken out without overdrawing your account. The bank thinks it is doing you a favor. I would call the bank and see why the block is still there, it may be a data entry error. This is always the case if you are using your debit card for a hotel reservation. They will hold the entire amount on your account although you have checked in or out. |
