Bank of America sent me a Email asking me to up date my account because of a foreigh IP. No account what gives


I do not have a Bank of America Account. The wanted me to update because of a foreighn IP? I tried to reply but it would not go through. what gives?

It's called a phishing scam. Some crook is trying to get you to provide enough information about yourself to steal your identity or to access your bank account. You might consider reporting it to Bank of America. On their web site they will tell you how (report fraud).
If you receive any suspicious emails forward them to:

abuse@bankofamerica.com

They will email you back shortly and advise you if it's a legit email.

It is a common phishing scam. Someone sent a spoof email to you on the offchance that you did have a Bank of America account.
Its called phishing...its where people say they are a bank in order to get your information then they used it and get your money and ruin your credit.
