Bank of America vs. Suntrust, which one is better to open a checking account with?

I have bank of america and I have had no problems with them. I have only had the account since Nov when I relocated. I have heard some very negative things tho against them but so far so good with me. I haven't really heard anything about suntrust tho.
I don't know much about Suntrust, but I do know BoA. I would would avoid BoA at all cost. They have high fees and very poor customer serivce.
