Is there a bank account that offers 拢5 grace?


I have went OD by accident a couple of times recently and never by more than 拢3 but it has cost me 拢120 in charges.

I am in the process of claiming charges back but the stress just isn't worth it!

The banks rely on peoples inertia, claim your money back. All you have to do is write and say you want your charges back because they are unlawful. I have always got mine back this way with no problem.
For a bank that allows you to go overdrawn by 拢5 without charges, is Lloyd's TBS. With their basic bank account, if a payment is refused and it is less than 拢10, there is no penalty, just a polite letter saying they couldn't pay whatever.
It is the rude threatening letters that banks send out that infuriate people.
well go to other banks and see what they offer
It would be much easier to simply put a spare 5 pounds in your bank and count 5 pounds as 0 balance.
