How can I get a bank account if I am in check systems? |
I have paid everything off! My ex-bf was on the account and he is the one who bounced the checks but they went after me too. What can I do to get an account at a local bank, something other then skylight(it only take drict deposit, and is a checkless acount, online only.)? Help You will have to contact the company Chex Systems. You have to bounce a million checks before ending up on the bad boy list with those guys so you are there for a reason. See what kind of arrangement you can make with them. It also does not matter that it was your boyfriend who did it. Joint checking account means joint responsibility good and bad. Never have a joint account with anyone and you will avoid this from happening again. Until they take you out of the system you will never be able to get a bank account. The banks and credit unions use company's like this one to avoid being killed by by customers. The banks can't afford to have everyone write checks and then never pay on them. You can contact ICICIBANK.COM Call around to banks in your area to find out who checks ChexSystems and who doesn't. I work at a bank that checks Telecheck, not ChexSystems. Good luck!
