Who has the legal right to go into somebodys bank account and look at the transaction's.? No-one - if police want to look into they have to have a court order. Other banks, insurance companies or credit reference agencies DO NOT have the power or the rights to look at what is in your bank account. All they can do is look at your credit record! Even the government do not have that right! Neither do Dept of works and pensions- they can ask you for a bank statement detailing what is in your account- but they cannot look into your account. Police under special circumstances - like they suspect you accept bribes or have robbed a bank. Executors after your death. The actual person obviously but also the police if the person is under investigation but also,depending on age of course, the persons parents. well any government dept for a kick off because they gave themselves that right under "terrorism laws" in addition a court can give powers to anyone the court deems fit. banks and insurance companies and credit agencies share information with the above three pretty much anyone is your answer. . . maybe the bank and thats it if you get help from social services, or if get social sercuity check, things like that they'll need that info to make sure you'll get the benefits that is greater than your resources.also i think sometimes if you get a new car the bank has to go in and make sure you can afford the monthly payments have had it done before |
