I have a visa travellers check for $500. Since I don't have a bank account, would anybody else cash it?

Sure...Mail it to me, and I will deposit it. After it clears, I will send you $450.00 minus postage and handling. LOL

If you go to a grocery store and buy some grocery's they will accept the Travellers check and give you cash back.
Leftover travelers checks from vacation.

...It means u have it but u cant use it
...And it also means that u have it and nobody will b able to use it.
As long as you have a photo id and the name on the check corresponds you can cash it at a bank. However there will be a fee involved. Also check cashing stores (also a fee) and any Currency exchange location - and yet more fees. Or use it to open a bank account for free.
You could go to where you purchased it and ask for a refund because it was not used...however if you found it or got it through illegitimate means anyplace you cash it will also include a free trip to Jail. Good Luck.
