My credit sucks, i have started my own business, cant get business bank account? |
Hi, i have started my own business but my personal credit rating is terrible. I won't bore you with the details but over the past few years i can remember who i owe money too. It has all caught up with me now though because my as i used to have cheques written out in my personal name more and more people are reluctant to do so (can't blame then) is there an account in the UK that will accept cheques under my business name? i not looking for credit or overdrafts just a very basic business bank account (PS i have been to most of the high street banks Alliance & Leicester, Natwest, LloydsTSB and they laughed at me ) Natwest will always laugh at you if you try in a branch, apply online which then goes direct to the business banking department in hornchurch. Do not request anything apart from a cash card and you should be home free ;) Source(s): Have crap credit and several business accounts at natwest Try Abbey National. I have a "small business account" with them and it's free. Good luck! use your personal account for now. run it properly for some months then apply for a business account with the same bank |
