Anyone know colorado bank laws? My bank returned check 45 days after clearing because my account was negative


I contacted the bank and they said they had the right due to the disclosure says RIGHT OF SETOFF. But other checks have been written after that one and my account didn't go neg. until a week ago and a month had already passed since the check written had cleared!
