Which High street bank account is best so that I get charged the least amount on ATM withdrawls in China.?


I live and work in China, but am paid in UK. With Barclays I get charged appx. 6 GBP for every 150 GBP transaction.

Nationwide Building Society

Their current account (Flexaccount) and Credit Card make no charges for using your card abroad - either via the cashpoints or using you card in shops etc Source(s): Building Society Manager

Bank of China have branches in UK. You can open an account, and use it in China. Other possible options - Peoples Bank of China and Central Bank of China.
