How can i open up a checking account if i am on cheksystems? what bank if any, can i use?

are there banks that allow you to open up a checking account if you are on cheksystems or telechecks?

U.S. Bank has a second chance checking account unless you owe them. Key bank has a atm/debit card account. The card can only be used at merchants and atms by using the pin. There will be no Visa or MasterCard symbol on the card.
Generally speaking, no. That's the whole point of Cheksystems and Telecheck. If your name pops up on either one, banks assume that it is a risk to allow you to write checks against an account at their bank.

Best bet - resolve whatever issues prompted your name to appear on Cheksystems and/or Telecheck, then worry about getting a new checking account... and make sure that however you were put on "the list" in the first place doesn't happen again.. :)
Yes-- SOME banks allow you to open it if you're in ChexSystems. Some have lienient policies, and others simply check TeleCheck instead of ChexSystems. However, they are hard to find.

Paying off your ChexSystems debt WILL NOT remove you from ChexSystems. You'll be in it for 5 years. However, if you are in TeleCheck instead, paying it off will remove your TeleCheck entry.

What state are you in? Credit unions are likely your best bet. You can get a savings account at Digital Federal Credit Union, but not a checking account.
