| *Loan,banking and credit>>>bank checks |
Why does the bank take so many days to deposit a single, simple check? |
it's kinda frustrating.... WHY? If it's from another bank they have to verify availability of funds and get payment from the other bank, they aren't gonna front the money... you CYA and they do the same. because they have to make sure the check clears and is legal. In the uk , it has to be transported to the Clearing banks in London , to be checked. In reality , the Banks have your money for up to a week.....and make massive profits on it ! Think about it ! All those cheques....all that money.......all that profit ! Banks are the modern day Bank Robbers ! Cos then they charge you for going overdrawn , when you draw money out , thinking the cheques cleared ! Two words...LATE FEES! If they can take money OUT of your account ON THE SAME DAY you withdraw/debit it...THEY COULD PUT IT IN JUST AS FAST! They're just dishing out the all American SCREW-JOB! Beacuase of a federal regulation called REG CC, they have to verify funds and that the check is negotiable. Mine gives me access to the money the same day. Deposits made up to 5 pm are credited that same day. It's only if the check bounces do I see it several days later. |
