Where can i cash a cashiers check - other than a bank?

As far as I know, you can only get these at a bank.

An alternative would be a money order available at payday loan places, many stores, and banks.

~Wal-Mart might do it - they do a lot of different types of transactions at the service desk.
The wonderful thing about a cashier's check is that it is as good as money in hand. It's not like a regular personal check that could potentially bounce. Depending on the amount of the check, you could probably get it cashed at a wal-mart, if the bank is out of the question. good luck, and I hope It was useful info.
