Has anyone ever opened a checking or savings account with a credit union or bank and had instant credit?


I was just curious to know because a friend told me she did.

Yes, if there is a fairly clean credit history. It happened to me too. It depends on lendind institution's policies.

But if you don't have any credit history yet, you will not be able to borrow much or get the best interest rates.
