Are there any banks other than WAMU that offer Free checking with unlimited usage of any ATM with no charge?


I know of a couple of banks that dont charge for ATM usage at other banks but so far WAMU (washington mutual) is the only bank that covers the charges that other banks charge for usage of thier ATMs. Anyone know any banks like WAMU. I would use them but they have no bank offices near me that I cannot make deposits and such.

I'm a former employee of Wamu, it's one of the few banks that offers free checking without requiring to have direct deposit, free checks for LIFE, no minimum balance, one NSF/Overdrawn fee reversal per year AND free outgoing wires. Come on, what other bank offers that.

Yes, Commerce Banks does too.
Many banks offer that feature (e.g. Wells Fargo), but most of the time it is tied to some minimum deposit or debt relationship. BY the way WAMU DOES pass through any charges that another bank imposes if you use their ATMs. They just don't impose any charges of their own.
