How do Americans call that paper that we check if there is money in the Bank. Is it a BALANCE?? INVOICE? |
I know there must be another name but I forgot. Thanks a lot Well, you check your bank balance. The balance usually is found on your bank statement (paper or eletronic). The paper is usually called a Bank statement. it's a Statment statement Statement, isn't it horrible when you cant think of a word you know. It's called a bank statement. But becareful, because by the time you receive the statement (whether in paper or electronic), you usually write more checks and deposit others. So it's always a good idea to reconcile your books verus your statement |
