Alone Again This Bank Holiday? |
Forgotten by your families? Then you're just like me... so... may I wish you a really good weekend... and hope that you'll find solace in this super weather... since it's days like this I'm very glad to be alive:-) I'll think about you all as I walk my dog shortly and say hallo to anyone who'll smile back to me... which sadly gets less and less... and much harder to overcome... even for over sixties gregarious females like me... as we become invisible because of age... Then there is the car that isolates us further... don't you think? unlike the old days when my mum was widowed and everyone used buses... and someone always struck up conversation with her... So... as I take a drive into the country later and sit beside the reservoir... I'll smile with happy memories of when my kids were young as I watch the happy families... enjoying this very welcome sunshine. God bless:-) 'Alone In Northampton' well JJ `i know the feeling I`ve taken my mother(86) to see my brother they are both badly off Keith has cerbral palsy, mother has altzeimers.so I may be alone but I`m reasonably fit and can go out myself. there are lots of people worse off and we have memories. tonight I`ll go to my local for an hour or so have a chat and maybe a game of dominoes then back to an empty bugalow.then theres always chat on line.email if you want to chat if not enjoy the sunshine and your walks.bless you too.
