Why is it if a parent signs a bank loan for a 17 yr old and he won't pay the parents have to pay "But" when? |
But when they sign for the 17 year old to go into the Marines and he doesn't go why is it the Parents don't have to serve in the Marines. After all they signed for him to go in the Marines. So if he can't finish his 4 years shouldn't the parents be made to finish his four years? They would have to pay the bank loan if he didn't pay. A 17 year old can get married with his/her parent's consent, also. Does your "logic" apply there, also? A 17 year old girl gets married to an 18 year old. She doesn't want to stay married and asks for a divorce. Since her mom signed the papers for her to get married at 17, with your thinking, the mom should become the 18 year old's wife in the 17 year old's place because she signed for the 17 year old, correct? Or does that sound as stupid as your question? He can finish his four years. He just doesn't WANT to. If he COULDN'T finish, he'd get a medical discharge and you wouldn't be here complaining that your nephew changed his mind. Are you serious??? Waaaa, poor me, I was too lazy to read my contract and now I want out......Just quit whining, finish your term, and get the hell out the military whiny little girl!!!!! I joined the Army at 17 and I knew what I was getting into: A WAR!!! So do your time and go run back home like a little coward, the s**t could be worse....you could call Iraq home versus only serving a year here!!!! PROUDLY SERVING IN IRAQ!!!!!! 10 MONTHS AND COUNTING......... Rules differ, but if college kid doesn't pay the co-signers are liable. Money and service are two different concepts/ Kiddies, can you say " R E S P O N S I B L E?" |
