NO, DON'T GET FINANCING FROM A DEALER!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WILL STICK YOU WITH A HIGH RATE SO THEY CAN GET MONEY FROM THE BANK FOR STICKING YOU WITH A HIGH RATE. DUH.
Go to a reputable dealer. They will arrange financing for you.
Go to the car dealership. They have finance departments there, and while they go through banks, you do not have to physically go to them.
Use your credit card.

THEY WILL LIE ABOUT YOUR FICO SCORE AND STICK YOU WITH 14% WHEN YOU CAN GET 7% FROM ELSEWHERE. WHY DO THEY DO THAT? BECAUSE DEALERS GET WHATS CALLED A "KICKBACK" WHICH IS LIKE A BONUS THE BANKS PAY THEM FOR TRAPPING ANOTHER SUCKER FOR THEIR HIGH INTEREST LOANS.
