If there is money leftover afterwards, you will receive a check for the remaining amount that you can use as you like. Source(s): Having a stafford loan Your school will issue a check in the amount of the overpayment once they have taken out your tuition and expenses payable to the school. My school gets the funds directly from the lender, it takes my fees out and direct deposits the rest right into my checking account. Ask your financial aid office what they do at your school. I find the direct deposit method is much quicker. |
