What banks do you suggest for (graduate) Student Loan Lending? |
I have a list of fifteen lenders to choose from and they all seem the same to me. Has anyone had a good experience with a particular bank or lender? Is there a bank I should definitely avoid? I use Citibank, through my local credit union and they are good. I would check to see which offer the best terms, and once I narrowed them down, would choose by location, services, and size. Size in this case is usually better (bigger size that is), but you may have other priorities than me. Good luck. Sallie Mae usually winds up servicing a large majority (if not all) of the student loans. The banks can originate loans, but all payments will be made to Sallie Mae. Personal experience. |
