The banks aren't being helpful because you already have bad credit and by looking at your record, they probably figure if they make you a loan, they'll play hell getting the money they lent you back. Start making all of your payments ON TIME. Reduce your debt. If you already owe a ton of money, how are you going to pay another loan? Banks look at how much debt you already have and based on that, decide whether or not you could pay the payments on a new loan. So if you want your credit score to go up, start by paying back some of the money you've already borrowed. Using a credit card is borrowing money from them so pay the credit cards down. You will be paying credit cards forever if all you are making is the minimum payment. Always pay more than the minimum payment and get the debt reduced.
