How can the illegals get Bank of America debit cards without social security numbers?

I work for Bank Of America, Now are you refering to debit cards linked to a Checking account, or actual Credit cards. I will answer both.

1. well first off for a person to open an account that is not a citizen they must present proper Id, People can go to their local Consular and Get whats called a Mexican Consular Id, and can use a Passport or Visa from their country.

2. The "illegal Immigrants" Must have and Tax Id number issued by the The Government to Get a Credit Card with us. With this Tax Id number the are eligable to work in the US and PAY TAXES to the US. SO if they are paying taxes to our country, stimulating the economy by working and purchasing products, and the Government knows they are here and are taking taxes out isnt it only fair???

People are often confused and thinks that anyone from any country can walk in an get a credit card. This is FALSE the media and other banks are putting this out there because they are threatened by B OF A.

They dont tell you that we offer a mortgage product that will cover all 3rd party fees, and Lines of Credit that Do the Same.
They also dont mention that We are Lending CountryWide 2 billion dollars, becuase they have no funding behind their loans.

They use their Mexicans Matriculation card. It's going to be interesting to see how many of those homes that were financed by Bank of American using those Matriculation cards default. We will also have to see if when Bank of American goes belly up because of bad loans if it asked the USA goverment to bail them out.
They are "tracked" by the TIN number. the tin number is available to undocumented workers to pay taxes....

The Bank of America credit card is on a pilot program only in Los ANgelas county at this point. It hopes to go national in the next couple years. Wells Fargo also is on a similar plan- they offer home mortgages with 2 year proof of residency..

In the latest sign of the U.S. banking industry鈥檚 aggressive pursuit of the Hispanic market, Bank of America Corp. has quietly begun offering credit cards to customers without Social Security numbers 鈥?typically illegal immigrants.

In recent years, banks across the country have begun offering checking accounts and, in some cases, mortgages to the nation鈥檚 fast-growing ranks of undocumented immigrants, most of whom are Hispanic. But these immigrants generally haven鈥檛 been able to get major credit cards, making it hard for them to develop a credit history and expand their purchasing power.

The new Bank of America program is open to people who lack both a Social Security number and a credit history, as long as they have held a checking account with the bank for three months without an overdraft. Most adults in the U.S. who don鈥檛 have a Social Security number are undocumented immigrants.

The Charlotte, N.C., banking giant tested the program last year at five branches in Los Angeles, and last week expanded it to 51 branches in Los Angeles County, home to the largest concentration of illegal immigrants in the U.S. The bank hopes to roll out the program nationally later this year.

The banking giant salivating over the massive illegal alien market insists it鈥檚 doing nothing wrong:

Bank of America defends the program, saying it complies with U.S. banking and antiterrorism laws. Company executives say that the initiative isn鈥檛 about politics, but rather about meeting the needs of an untapped group of potential customers.

鈥淭hese people are coming here for quality of life, and they deserve somebody to give them a chance to achieve that quality of life,鈥?says Brian Tuite, the bank鈥檚 director of Latin America card operations and one of the architects of the program.
