About bank of china in philippines? |
i'm in manila, i have account in beijing china with bank of china, can i open an account here in manila with bank of china, and my family remit money from beijing? how much is the charge? how many days it might take? Remittance via telegraphic transfer takes about 3days to a week max between a foreign bank and another bank in the Philippines not necessarily of the same group. But it would be a lot better if you have a bank here in the same group as that one you have in China. It might be even easier to inquire from the branch here on different ways you can move money from there to Philippines. They might have a faster and more efficient way to do it. I don't know how much the charges are from the sending bank, but the fee charged by the receiving bank is normally between $25-$50.00 depending on the amount and bank. But I am sure, that doing it between branches in the same group would be more advantageous. |
