Why is globalization so important to the Bush family /corporations/communists/China/the world bank/ who else? I don't know the answer to your question, but I've wondered about it myself. Since they have used coercion to achieve globalization, rather than trying to sell it to the people, it's likely that it does not serve the common good. Their whole approach to secret government by fiat annoys me tremendously, as does the lack of public outcry over it. My best guess is that globalization favors their personal aspirations to wealth and power. Probably because they're hoping you'll ask why it's so important. I don't think globalization is "important" to anyone. It is a reality, and we should be prepared to operate in a globalized world. You must not be very informed. The world bank has been around way before Bush. As far as your other examples. It was not that long ago people complained that he should work more with the world body on issues. Your statements are a perfect example of , it has nothing to do with world issues, it is the continuing parade of just hating Bush no matter what he does. Well get ready , 2008 is looking more and more like the American public will only choose a conservative leader because the liberals have continued to favor things the American public want nothing to do with. A perfect example is the immigration bill. Globalization for Bush means Americanization. That is, the world is governed by means of economy, and what is best for American companies, be right or wrong, is the interest of the United States. This is a very narrow minded thinking, as the cooperation between the countries, be that in terms of actual globalization, community service, world bank, or relations between countries should be based on mutual interest of related countries, bearing in mind we live in a global village now. Because there is money to be made, and the love of money is the root of all evil. |
